Information we receive

When someone submits or claims a listing, Senior Support Finder receives the contact, business, service, location, website, credential, and supporting information entered in that form. Account access through Supabase Auth uses the user’s email address and a secure authentication session.

The site also records limited first-party activity such as searches, result counts, provider page views, and clicks on phone, website, or directions actions. A randomized browser-session identifier may be used to reduce duplicate event counts. The current launch configuration does not enable Google Analytics.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to review possible listings and ownership claims, detect duplicates and misuse, contact submitters when necessary, operate provider accounts, maintain audit records, and understand whether directory search and contact features are working.

Appropriate business and program information may be published after human review. Private contact details, claim evidence, account information, administrative records, and submission-review information are not intended for public display.

Service providers and external links

The site is hosted by Vercel and uses Supabase for database, authentication, and storage services. These processors handle information needed to operate the site under their respective terms and privacy practices. Transactional email delivery and Google Analytics are not enabled in the current launch configuration.

Provider, government, nonprofit, mapping, and other external websites have their own privacy practices. Following an external link is optional.

Retention, security, and choices

Information is retained as needed to review submissions and claims, operate accounts, maintain directory accuracy, prevent abuse, preserve required audit history, and support the service. Reasonable technical and access controls are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

To request correction or removal of a published provider listing, use the Claim this listing link on that provider’s profile. For information submitted through Get Listed or Claim, send a follow-up through the same workflow using the same contact email and clearly identify the request in the description or proof field. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Children and policy changes

Senior Support Finder is a directory for adults seeking senior-related services and is not directed to children. This policy may be updated when the service’s actual data practices change; the revision date above will be updated at that time.
