Medi-Cal Transportation Services (NEMT and NMT)
Medi-Cal can cover non-medical transportation to covered appointments when a member has no other ride, and non-emergency medical transportation by ambulance, wheelchair van, or litter van when a medical condition prevents use of ordinary transportation. Members should contact their health plan's Member Services as early as possible to ask about eligibility and scheduling.
