Care Connexxus is a nonprofit adult day services organization that specializes in serving older adults with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory impairment. Its Riverside center provides assessment, service planning, personal care, health and social services, therapeutic activities, and nutrition. Care Connexxus states that daily transportation is available from a pickup and drop-off point at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center in Menifee. Contact its social work staff to ask whether the current program is appropriate for a person with early-stage dementia or mild cognitive impairment.
The Center for Senior Wellbeing Adult Day Center, also called The Club, offers supervised daytime care and structured social activities for older adults with cognitive or physical challenges, including Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Activities listed by the program include music, singing, dance, games, exercise, chair yoga, arts and crafts, and storytelling. The program determines whether it can safely meet each prospective participant's needs.
